The small number of participants is one of the weaknesses of the study. Participants provided only 12% positive replies to the survey. For instance, 600 nurses participated in the study, but only 72 completed the survey. It is crucial to increase the number of participants in the future. Another disadvantage is that single survey monkey was employed to collect data. It is essential to include interviews in order to obtain the necessary replies from nurses. Survey Monkey may not provide precise results. It does not allow researchers to further investigate the answers of participants. Integrating a variety of research methods is essential for enhancing the quality of the results.

The study demonstrates that healthcare organizations should reduce distractions that can compromise care quality. Multitasking is an example of a diversion. It is essential for healthcare management teams to increase the number of patients per nurse.
The second implication is that nurses must attend to patients in the patient room, as opposed to the nursing station. A nurse’s station is susceptible to numerous distractions that can compromise patient care.
The third consequence is that nurses should avoid distractions such as ringing phones and ambient noise. Computer issues and the need to multitask are two more kinds of distraction. It is essential to provide care in a calm and peaceful setting.
Conclusion
Nurses are obligated to provide uninterrupted quality care to patients. Nurses should identify and eliminate sources of distractions. Healthcare sector stakeholders should collaborate to prevent workplace distractions.
