My county is Tarrant County, Texas.

Tarrant County is ranked 34th out of 254 counties in Texas.

Specific Population

I will discuss the overall health of the City of Fort Worth. Fort Worth is the largest city in Tarrant County, with a population of over 900,000 people. The city has a diverse population, with a large Hispanic and African American population.

The leading causes of morbidity and mortality in Fort Worth are heart disease, cancer, and unintentional injuries. The city also has high rates of obesity, diabetes, and hypertension.

Some of the health behaviors that contribute to these health problems include smoking, poor diet, and lack of physical activity. Other risk factors include poverty, lack of access to healthcare, and environmental pollution.

Targeted Health Care or Health Promotion Services and Programs

There are a number of targeted health care and health promotion services and programs that are needed in Fort Worth. These include:
