The Chicago-based healthcare facility provides a combination of researchers and physicians whose aim is to provide the best medical care to patients.
Northwestern Medicine is grounded in evidence-based practice since it has research programs are aimed at identifying the best and current evidence in the treatment of diseases (Northwestern Medicine, 2019). Nursing care services are based on evidence-based practice to achieve the best outcomes. It empowers nurses to discover creative, best and current methods of providing treatment through continuous improvement and strategic planning (Chan, Trueger, Roland & Thoma, 2018). The information has changed my perception of the healthcare organization. I have discovered that the organization is dedicated to providing quality care to patients using evidence-based practice. One of the important aspects of the organization is carrying out extensive clinical trials and research to discover new and innovative treatment options for patients (Northwestern Medicine, 2019). For example, the organization is dedicated to providing innovative treatment options for diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer, which are some of the world’s leading health problems.
