Brief:
The Covid-19 pandemic caused by the corona virus has resulted in the need for enhanced infection prevention and control measures to contain its spread. These measures include educating the public in general, and healthcare workers, as to how the infection is spread, and to what enhanced measures need to be undertaken to minimise the risk and spread of infection both in the community and in healthcare settings.
Scenario:
You are a healthcare assistant in a long-term care setting and have recently been promoted to Infection Prevention & Control Officer.
As part of your new role, you have been asked to organise training for new employees to inform them of the infection prevention and control measures and the procedures, which are local policy within your health care-setting you have been approached to arrange preparing for new representatives to illuminate them regarding the contamination avoidance and control measures and the strategies, which are neighborhood strategy inside your medical services setting, to minimise the risk and spread of infections such as Covid-19 and other health care associated infections.
You may present training in either of the following formats:
